Alexandre Cousineau joined Middlefield in 2026 as Head of Fixed Income. He is responsible for the continued development and expansion of Middlefield’s fixed income platform.
Alexandre has over 15 years of experience in active global fixed income portfolio management, credit trading and risk management. He most recently served as a vice president and portfolio manager at Fiera Capital, where he managed multi-billion-dollar mandates across investment-grade, high yield, securitization and emerging market debt. Alexandre has significant client-facing and business development experience with a successful track record in global multi-sector fixed income. He is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder with a bachelor’s degree in actuarial mathematics and a master’s degree in financial engineering.
