Michael O’Donnell is a Portfolio Manager at Middlefield. Prior to joining Middlefield in 2026, Michael spent nearly 20 years at Barometer Capital Management, where he most recently served as Portfolio Manager and Head of Risk. During his tenure, he was responsible for executing equity and fixed income orders, conducting fundamental company research, and managing customized fixed income portfolios on behalf of the firm’s clients. His investment expertise spans the capital structure, with a focus on high-yield credit, preferred shares, and North American equities.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CFA Charterholder.
