Victor joined Middlefield as a Director of Corporate Development at the beginning of 2023. He supports the leadership team on firm-wide initiatives & ideas. In addition, he leads end-to-end coverage of projects on product management, new product offerings, launches, renewals, and other corporate actions. Lastly, he collaborates closely with the operation team on automating tasks and processes to drive efficiencies for our investors.
Before Middlefield, Victor had spent 5-years at a Toronto-based Growth Equity firm CanTech Capital, where he worked on minority investments in tech companies. He was responsible for transaction execution, deal structuring, and financial modeling.
Victor graduated with an MSc in management and a CEMS MIM designation from Ivey Business School, Western University, and a Bachelor of Software Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi, China. Victor holds Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
