Experience: Various managerial positions in the health care industry, including Advisor to the CEO at Toronto East General Hospital (now Michael Garron); Business Manager, Surgery, at Wellesley Hospital; and Administrative Manager, Surgical Directorate, at Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital. Prior to that, Ms. Sears conducted laboratory research in immunology at The Best Institute, and clinical research in epidemiology at The Ontario Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation. Ms. Sears has also held volunteer roles at a variety of charities, including Seeds of Hope, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Invictus Games, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
