Wendy is Senior Vice-President, Exchange-Listed Funds and Limited Partnerships at Middlefield. She is responsible for overseeing the firm’s accounting and tax functions related to its exchange-listed products and Limited Partnerships.
Prior to joining Middlefield, Wendy spent nearly two decades in public accounting, working across audit as well as Canadian and U.S. tax practices. She began her career at Arthur Andersen LLP as an articling student, later specializing in tax. She subsequently held roles as Senior Tax Specialist at Ernst & Young LLP, U.S. Tax Manager at Grant Thornton LLP, and U.S. Tax Senior Manager at BDO Canada LLP.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Manitoba. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.
Wendy is actively involved in her community, contributing to parent councils at her children’s schools and supporting initiatives such as traffic safety improvements and fundraising efforts for library resources, technology, and infrastructure enhancements.
